About us

Welcome to Bandeela, home of Dennis and Julianna James. We are located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We live in a rural community surrounded by beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. Exploring the many trails in nearby State Parks, Forests and Preserves is one of our main activities. Sometimes our explorations are on the lakes and rivers in our kayaks. Whether hiking or on the water, Annie our Rat Terrier is along for the adventure. We also enjoy metal detecting and researching local history. A shared interest in recording our hobbies thru our digital photography has led to the creation of the many galleries on this site.
